We will be watching Mickey's Christmas Carol with an ice cream sundae bar, creating a Christmas Ornament for the tree, and participating in Santa's Secret Workshop, sponsored by the Saint Vincent de Paul Society. All items in Santa’s Secret Workshop are under $10 and gift wrapping is free!

Funds donated to us are used to help those less fortunate in our local community. It is only through your generosity and the support of our pastor, Fr. Cuddy, that we are able to provide food and financial help to those in need.
November 17, 2019 marks the third annual World Day of the Poor. In 2017, Pope Francis suggested the Catholic Church set aside one day each year when communities can “reflect on how poverty is at the very heart of the Gospel.” He designated this day as the World Day of the Poor, and it will be celebrated on the 33rd Sunday in Ordinary Time each year.

The Ladies Auxiliary is sponsoring two Angel Trees this year. On Nov 16 the trees will appear in the East Foyer, one for children and another for elderly residents in nursing homes. Please place your unwrapped gift purchases under the tree no later than Dec 16.
This weekend our parish will take up a collection to benefit the Archdiocese for the Military Services (AMS), USA, a triennial collection approved by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops. Please prayerfully consider a contribution to this special collection to support active-duty military men and women and their families. This includes members of our parish.
On Saturday, October 26, Susan Samson received the Lumen Christi Award. Latin for "Light of Christ” this annual award is presented to a distinguished volunteer each year. Recipients devote their time and skills without pay and are inspirations to others who serve.
This weekend, Saint Vincent de Paul Society is handing out bags for food donations. Your donations will be used in Thanksgiving Baskets for needy families. Please give generously by November 17th!
