We would like to thank you for being such a wonderful blessing to our facility this year. I pray God will continue to bless you as you endeavor to further the cause of Christ and strive to bless others by following His words, “I was in prison, and ye came unto me.”
A short note of thanks to Fr. Cuddy, Fr. James and Deacon Buddy, the people of the Gulf Coast and all of the staff, support staff, volunteers, parishioners of St. Thomas the Apostle Church.
We at SVdP Society would like our caring St. Thomas family to know how helpful your offerings are to us when you “drop” your gifts in the Poor Boxes located on the east and west side entrances of the church. Your offerings help us to help the poor in our community. Thank you and know we pray for our church family.
Thank you to all of those who participated and/or contributed to the Panama City mission trip. We were able to assist Mrs. B. with her house. We repaired the roof, cleaned moldy items, scrubbed walls, prepared kitchen for future repairs, and made her home feel like home again. Thank you, again, for all of your prayers and donations. We couldn’t have done it without your help!
Bishop Morin officiated at the Mass honoring deceased Irish priests on Jan 8. A reception followed in the Community Center which gave the priests an opportunity to say their farewells to one another and to visit with the many parishioners and visitors who attended the Mass.
If you have children enrolled in the 9th, 10th, or 11th grade and have not received information regarding the Sacrament of Confirmation, please e-mail Ashlie Moran so the children can be added to our Confirmation e-mail list. Ashlie’s e-mail is [email protected]
During the weekend of January 26-27, there will be a special collection for the Church in Latin America. For many living in Latin America and the Caribbean, a rising secular culture, and rural terrain, and a shortage of ministers make it difficult for people to practice the faith. Your donations fund religious education, marriage and family life programs, and seminarian and religious formation so people can grow closer to Christ. Please prayerfully consider supporting this collection to share your faith with our brothers and sisters in Latin America and the Caribbean. Thank you!
