Please bring donations of non-perishable food items and leave your bags in the vestibules of the Church. Someone will deliver them to the Food Pantry on the first of every month. Cash is also needed; just put it in an envelope in the collection basket marked “For Food Pantry”. THANK YOU FOR YOUR GENEROSITY.
If you are an Extraordinary Eucharistic Minister of the Eucharist and have a couple of hours a month, please consider being a volunteer to take communion to our hospitalized or homebound parish members.
The Diocese has asked us to support a special collection on Father’s Day (next Sunday). It is important for you to know that this collection is for retired diocesan priests in this diocese. Diocesan priests are provided a modest pension in their golden years by an endowment to which parishes pay a yearly assessment. In addition, priests who are in their senior years receive a small pension through Catholic Sharing Appeal.
If you are still looking for a special graduation or Confirmation gift, the Good Shepherd is located in the East Foyer and will be open after all masses. Also coming up is Father’s Day so this could be a good opportunity for something for a great dad!.
October 12th & 13th are dates for the Fall Festival to return. Your help is needed to make this Fall Festival successful. Father Cuddy is on his well-deserved vacation in Ireland. He was able to arrive before his mother’s ninetieth birthday so he could celebrate with the family. Bet he can’t wait to return to us to be relieved of his handyman responsibilities! All kidding aside, please enjoy this special time, Father Cuddy.
