There is a collection on the fifth Sunday of each month for the needy through the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Your donation goes toward funding the main outreach projects that make a difference to those in need. St. Vincent de Paul provides nourishment of hope, not just a meal.
The collection of food for the Long Beach Food Pantry is next weekend. Please bring donations of non-perishable food items and leave your bags in the vestibules of the church. We will deliver them to the Food Pantry. Cash is also needed. Just put it in an envelope in the collection basket marked for the Food Pantry. THANKS FOR YOUR GENEROSITY!
If there is one person that we should each get to know in a deeply personal way, it is Jesus the carpenter from Nazareth, the itinerant preacher, the Son of God, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, the Lamb of God, the new Adam, the Messiah, the Alpha and the Omega, the Chosen One, the Light of the World, the God-Man who wants good things for us more than we want them for ourselves, the healer of our souls.

Kaleigh Bates and Bryce Warden were presented the St. Timothy Award at The Diocese of Biloxi’s 2018 Youth Celebration on March 23-25 at the Mississippi Gulf Coast Coliseum and Convention Center. Congratulations both of these young parishioners!
The Parish Picnic will be on Sunday, May 20 starting at 11:30 am in the Pavilion. Our parish will provide hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, egg-rolls and drinks. Please bring a dish to share if your last name beings with: A-G = please bring a main dish, H-M = bring a salad, N-Z = bring a dessert. Don’t forget to bring your own picnic chair or blanket!!!
St. Vincent de Paul Community Pharmacy is actively seeking additional volunteers to serve as eligibility screeners at its Hancock County Extension Site. The group meets on the first Monday of each month at the MSU Extension Center in the Bay St. Louis Annex Building. Hours of service are 8:30 am - 11 am. Anyone interested can call the Pharmacy Office at 228-374-9097.
St. Vincent de Paul Catholic School will host their annual inaugural fundraiser. There will be food, drinks and dancing to a jazz swing band along with live and silent auctions, and a few surprises! The theme is “Roaring 20’s” and dressing up is strongly encouraged. All proceeds support Catholic education costs and students’ growth.
