The Altar Knights will meet on Sat, Nov 4th from 9am to 10am in the Church. The meeting will consist of training and the advancement of those altar servers who have moved up in rank. All current altar servers should attend. Any 4th through 12th graders who would like to join the Altar Knights program are also welcome to attend.
Coming on Nov 4 & 5 are new religious items on display at the Good Shepherd Showcase. The showcase will be in the east foyer and items will be on sale following all Masses.
All Saints Day Vigil Mass will be Tues, Oct 31st at 7pm. All Saints Day masses will be at 8:30am, 12 noon and 7pm on Wed, Nov 1st. All Souls Mass will be celebrated on Thurs, Nov 2 at 7pm. All souls who passed away from Nov of 2016 until Nov 2017 will be celebrated. Feel free to bring a picture of your loved one which will be displayed for the month of Nov.
All veterans, active, reserve, or retirees are invited to participate in the 7th annual Long Beach Veterans parade on Nov 5th. Muster at Long Beach Methodist Church at 12:30pm. The parade rolls at 1pm, followed by a concert on the Town Green at 1:30pm.

Due to Hurricane Nate, the “Run for Your Life” 5k and 1 Mile Run is rescheduled for Sat, Oct 28th 8am at the Town Green in Long Beach. Check in begins at 7am. It will be a morning of fun: free Halloween tattoos for the kids, popcorn and cotton candy for sale, coupons from local businesses for runners, and a really cool t-shirt !
