Next weekend, the diocese has requested a special collection for the national university of the Catholic Church in the United States.  The university was founded and sponsored by the USA bishops with the approval of the Holy See and is committed to being a comprehensive Catholic and American institution of higher learning.
 
  The Catholic University of America is a national research university with 6,000 undergraduate and graduate students in more than 180 academic programs on a residential campus in the heart of the nation's capital.  Envelopes are in the rear of the church.  Thank you for your generosity.
