The Diocese of Biloxi has scheduled a second collection at all Masses for the weekend of Sept 15-16.  The collection is to support the diocesan Apostleship of the Sea.  This ministry provides sailors at sea with the very basic fulfillment of their responsibilities as a practicing Catholic.  This second collection supports a center at the  Port of Gulfport and provides transportation for the seamen whenever they are allowed to leave the ship for church and necessity shopping in the local community.
