CRS Rice Bowl is a Lenten faith formation program that helps us to live in solidarity with the poor and vulnerable around the world. The Catholic Relief Services Collection supports Catholic Church organizations that carry out international relief and solidarity efforts. Among the programs are relief and resettlement for victims of persecution, war, and natural disasters; development projects to improve living conditions for the poor; legal and support services for poor immigrants; peace and reconciliation work for people suffering from violence; and advocacy on behalf of the powerless. Please make sure to take home a rice bowl during Lent (rice bowls are in the baskets at the entrance doors of the church), share your blessings with those in need, and drop off your rice bowl in the baskets on Palm Sunday (March 25). Thank you in advance for your sacrificial giving and solidarity with the poor!
