Braxton Necaise is a seminarian studying for the priesthood on behalf of the Diocese of Biloxi. Braxton was born and raised in Kiln, Mississippi. His home parish is Sacred Heart in the Dedeaux Community. He is a 2004 graduate of Hancock High School. Upon completion of high school he began a career with a financial institution on the Gulf Coast where he worked in Administration until entering Notre Dame Seminary in August of 2014.
Braxton was a Youth Minister within his parish where he facilitated numerous retreats, served as an advisor to the C.Y.O, and taught religious education. His passion was working with the young people of his parish and being a part of their faith journeys. In 2012 he completed his undergraduate work at Our Lady of Holy Cross College in New Orleans, Louisiana where he received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Theology.
Braxton looks forward to working with and getting to know the parishioners of Saint Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church.
