The following is an important Notice from the Parish Office:
A reminder that Eucharist Ministers are still required to wear their mask and sanitize their hands when distributing Communion.
For the time being the person setting up for Mass will continue to clean up after Mass.
For the people setting up for Mass please remind the ushers or whomever is responsible for getting gift bearers that beginning this coming weekend we will resume bringing up the gifts to the altar.
Thank you for your continued commitment to serving.
God Bless
Beverly
Though the above information may not directly apply to each of you, please be aware of these transitional requirements as we head toward normalcy.

Please read the following. Thank you.
Eucharist Ministers;
Please note that Fr. Vincent does things a little differently. He goes to the tabernacle and gets the ciborium and brings it to the altar before he says the Lamb of God. Therefore, we DO NOT approach the altar until he finishes saying the Lamb of God, takes communion and drinks the cup.
We DO NOT leave our pew and approach the altar while he is saying the Lamb of God. Nor do we go up to the altar until he finishes his communion and drinks from the cup.
Any questions please let me know. (Office # 863-1610)
Thank you all for your continued commitment to serve.
God Bless and stay safe.
Beverly Leslie

2022 JUNE DAILY MASS SCHEDULE
The members of the Hospital Ministry who bring the Eucharist to our Parish members have been so amazing and we are truly blessed with their dedication. However at this time, as we all know, things have changed for all of us.
St. Thomas Parishioners who are in the hospital will now be visited by and receive the Eucharist from the hospital chaplain. Please continue to let the hospital know you are a member of St. Thomas and contact the office if your family member is admitted to the hospital.
As soon as we are able to return to visits, we will let everyone know. Thanks again to our volunteers for their time and dedication and to Charles Fallo for keeping our information on the church website. Everyone, please take care of yourself and your family. God bless.
Stay safe
Wash your hands
Say your Prayers
St. Thomas has a very active group of Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion who visit Memorial Hospital daily to bring the patients the Eucharist. The best way to be sure someone in the hospital is being visited, when registering indicate they are Catholic and are from St. Thomas. Sometimes, when admitted through the Emergency Room, the patient’s religious affiliation is not listed. Verify with the Hospital Admissions Office that the above information is included.
To those who visit the sick in the hospital and homebound, thank you for this ministry. It is so meaningful to those who are visited. Some are struggling with serious health issues; some have minor setbacks—but all are grateful for receiving the healing power of Jesus. It means so much to them to know that their church and their faith have reached out to them in their time of need.
As a reminder to those who visit the sick, please be respectful of the Eucharist. Prepare your own soul with prayer and seek forgiveness of any wrongdoing; make sure your hands are clean as you administer the host; go directly from the church to the hospital or home; put the pyx in a safe and distinct place in your pocket or purse. We suggest that you turn off your radio and cell phone when you are carrying the Eucharist. It will give you an opportunity to reflect on the sacredness of your ministry. Again, the ministry you have undertaken is important. We sincerely thank you for your help and support of the sick and homebound.
