Due to enormous amounts of rain, the Parish Palooza has been rescheduled for Sunday, May 3 from 12-4pm. If it rains, the festival will be held in the community center on a smaller scale. Those who are bringing sweets may bring to the Parish office on Friday, May 1 or bring to the Palooza on May 3. Thank you.

If you haven’t purchased your raffle tickets for the car, tickets will be sold the weekend of April 25 and April 26 after all Masses in the east foyer and the front of the church (beach side) foyer. It’s a 2015 Chevrolet Cruze LS donated by Turan Foley Chevrolet-Buick-Cadillac on Hwy 49 in Gulfport. Check out the car – it’s parked by the front doors and marked with yellow balloons. Can't you picture yourself driving it? Food and beverage booths for all ages, children’s games. entertainment, a themed basket raffle and silent auction are just some of the fun events planned! The baskets will be displayed and raffle tickets for the baskets will be sold after each Mass time in the east foyer.

Volunteers are needed to help monitor the games and booths and bakers are needed to donate cakes for the cake walk. If you own a business and can donate a prize or a gift certificate, it would be greatly appreciated. We also need money donations to purchase the food items, children’s games, rental of tents, etc. Please put any donation amount in an envelope, mark it “Parish Palooza” and drop it in the weekly collection basket during Mass. All are welcome to donate NEW items that would be suitable for the silent auction. Donors will be recognized in our parish bulletin and if a business donation, also at the event where your business card will be displayed with items donated. A list of donors will also be included on our website.

We need your help to make this a success! Mark your calendar for next Saturday, the 18th. There is no charge to attend. Bring your portable chairs and plan for a day of fun.
