Next weekend, you will find in your packet of envelopes an envelope marked “Catholic Education.” It is so important for us to continue to educate our children, youth and adults about the Catholic faith and traditions. In our parish, there are many forms of Catholic education. We support the education of adults through RCIA and Scripture Study and other adult education programs. We have RCIC for children over the age of 7 and RCIT for our teens. We have School of Religious Education for pre-school (ages 3-4) and Grades K-12. We also support Catholic education in our Catholic schools (St. Vincent de Paul, OLA, St. Stanislaus and St. Patrick).
Religious education in its many forms makes our world a better place and give us hope for the future of our church, our community and our nation. Please be generous. If your envelope is not handy, just use a plain envelope and mark it “Catholic Education” or mark your check for Catholic Education.
